What follow-up care actually looks like

Post-operative checks, wound and dressing care, medication administration and chronic-condition monitoring — carried out at home, while your pet rests where it recovers best.
Follow-up work that doesn't need a clinic, done where your pet is already resting.
Follow-up care works alongside whoever performed the original procedure. Bring any discharge notes or instructions from the treating clinic to the visit, so the vet can work from what was actually done.
Pet Lovers treats cats and dogs. We don't currently see birds, rabbits, reptiles or other exotic pets.

Chronic conditions that need regular review, where the trips add up over months rather than one visit.
If tablets or injections at home aren't going well, the vet can administer them and show you what works with your particular animal.
Please tell us before the visit if your pet has previously bitten, scratched, escaped, shown aggression or needed sedation at a veterinary appointment. The veterinarian may adjust or stop the examination if continuing would be unsafe.
Anything the treating clinic gave you: what was done, what was prescribed, and what they asked you to watch for.
A list or photograph of everything your pet is taking, including doses if you have them written down.
Somewhere calm with good light. Keep cats in a secure room before we arrive; for dogs, have a collar or harness ready.
The consultation fee plus the house visit for your area. Medications, laboratory testing and any additional procedures are quoted separately, and the total is confirmed on WhatsApp before booking.
Starting from AED 99 depending on your location. The visit fee is charged in addition to the services provided, except in the packages below, which already include the house visits.

Dubai Municipality registration applies to Dubai. If you are in Sharjah, message us and we will confirm what applies to you.
If a wound, a chronic condition or a response to treatment needs imaging, surgery or hospitalisation, the veterinarian will recommend referral rather than managing it at home.
Follow-up visits are scheduled, not on-call. If your pet gets suddenly worse between visits, go to an emergency hospital rather than waiting for the next appointment.
Home visits are suitable for many consultations and treatments, but they do not replace hospital care when advanced support is required.

The veterinarian may carry selected commonly used veterinary medications and treatment supplies. Availability depends on the pet's condition and the medication required. Some prescriptions may need to be dispensed or collected separately.
Yes. Multiple cats or dogs in the same household can usually be seen during one appointment. Please tell us in advance how many pets need to be examined and the reason for each visit. Additional fees may apply.
House visits start from AED 99 depending on your location, and the visit fee is charged in addition to the services provided. A veterinary consultation is AED 150, and most vaccinations are AED 150 each.
Vaccination packages start from AED 450 and include the house visits. The full price list is on our services page, and the total for your appointment is always confirmed before it is booked.
If your pet requires X-rays, advanced imaging, surgery, oxygen therapy, hospitalisation or intensive monitoring, the veterinarian will recommend referral to an appropriate veterinary clinic or hospital. Home visits are suitable for many consultations and treatments, but they do not replace hospital care when advanced support is required.

Pet Lovers is not a substitute for a fully equipped emergency veterinary hospital. Do not wait for a home visit if your pet has any of the following:
